Meaning of IMP
Although our young staff enjoys their work and occasionally sport impish grins, we are not imps (mischievous children or little devils). We take our work very seriously.
IMP stands for “Investigational Medicinal Product,” the study drug to be investigated in a clinical trial. IMP is the European equivalent of the American term “IP” or “Investigational Product.” We call ourselves IMP Logistics because we are specialists in clinical trial warehousing and distribution. Clinical trial logistics is our core business. We are not distracted by other lines of business.
